Memorial United Methodist Church has been an important presence at our east Charlotte location for more than 60 years. We are an essential part of this neighborhood as well as a vital community site and resource. We offer a blended worship service in our Sanctuary on Sundays at 10:00am in English. We offer a Bible Study in Spanish on Saturdays at 7:00pm. Other congregations that meet on our campus include a Baptist congregation for persons within the Montagnard community who speak Jarai and a non-denominational French-speaking congregation for persons from the Congo. We have a multi-cultural, through-the-week Community Preschool, a talented Choir, small groups including crafting and hobby groups, and a chapter of the United Methodist Women. Our campus also houses the nonprofit, Emerald High School.

 

Recently our iconic sanctuary and large campus was used for several scenes in the upcoming movie, "Are You There God? It's Me Margaret" set to be released from Lionsgate Films in May 2023! It is showing at you local theaters now!
