We partner with the aid agencies Crisis Assistance and A Roof Above which help members of the community with shelter, rent, and other financial assistance. We are a member organization of Mecklenburg Metropolitan Interfaith Network. We are partners with The Galilee Center, located near us on Central Ave. They house a branch of another one of the agencies we support, Loaves and Fishes/Friendship Trays, which have merged. We support Refugee Support Services who are also based at The Galilee Center. We work with other United Methodist Churches as well as Catholic Charities as we meet the needs of Afghan refugees in our community. Our partnerships enable us to support persons in the community who are struggling with access to food and shelter.

We house the headquarters of the nonprofit Project Outpour on our campus  and are the site for their mobile hot shower program on Thursdays from 10:00am until 1:00pm.

We offer a Little Free Pantry on our front campus, along Central Avenue, near the bus stop.  Non-perishable foods are left there and taken from there, as neighbors meet the needs of other neighbors in that common, shared space.  We offer a second Little Free Pantry in the east parking lot of our campus where feminine hygiene products and paper products can be shared with the community.

We also host AA meetings, special interest groups, neighborhood association meetings, community gatherings and Bible Studies.

In our west parking lot, we have a sand volleyball court and a basketball goal that are open for community use.
